  sometimes i have expressed a longing for jw organization to tone down its rhetoric and become, well, nicer and more loving.

  i have not been alone in my hope.

  some posters have even said that if a wave of kindness washed over jw organization and, say, the shunning doctrine was modified (e.g., left up to the individual's conscience without fear of retribution from elders), they'd go back.

  With the increase in consequences for being such delusional CEOs the stress factors will make them turn more and more into hard line despotic fruitcakes who like Pharaoh clamoured: "No more straw for making bricks, you sluggish slaves". I think harshness will increase to keep alive their despotic fantasy, at least till the shit finally hits the fan and they have no choice in the matter.

  Hey I wonder what the WT's stipulated worth is?

  Having determined that the superior court had the authority to issue the subject
  monetary sanctions, we summarily reject Watchtower's other attacks on the court's
  authority. Considering Watchtower's stipulated net worth, we do not conclude the
  amount of the sanctions was harsh or intended to punish Watchtower. To the contrary, it
  appears the court tried to select an amount that would successfully motivate Watchtower.
  Additionally, we are not persuaded that the sanctions were improper because they
  concern some future potential conduct. The sanctions properly apply to Watchtower's
  current conduct, i.e., refusing to comply with a valid discovery order.

  Treatment

  A challenge in the treatment of delusional disorders is that most patients have limited insight, and do not acknowledge that there is a problem.[3] Most patients are treated as out-patients, although hospitalization may be required in some cases if there is a risk of harm to self or others.[3] Individual psychotherapy is recommended rather than group psychotherapy, as patients are often quite suspicious and sensitive.[3] Antipsychotics are not well tested in delusional disorder, but they do not seem to work very well, and often have no effect on the core delusional belief.[3] Antipsychotics may be more useful in managing agitation that can accompany delusional disorder.[3] Until further evidence is found, it seems reasonable to offer treatments which have efficacy in other psychotic disorders.[19]

  Psychotherapy for patients with delusional disorder can include cognitive therapy which is conducted with the use of empathy. During the process, the therapist can ask hypothetical questions in a form of therapeutic Socratic questioning.[20] This therapy has been mostly studied in patients with the persecutory type. The combination of pharmacotherapy with cognitive therapy integrates treating the possible underlying biological problems and decreasing the symptoms with psychotherapy as well. Psychotherapy has been said to be the most useful form of treatment because of the trust formed in a patient and therapist relationship.[21]

  Supportive therapy has also been shown to be helpful. Its goal is to facilitate treatment adherence and provide education about the illness and its treatment.

  Furthermore, providing social skills training has helped many persons. It can promote interpersonal competence as well as confidence and comfort when interacting with those individuals perceived as a threat.[22]

  Insight-oriented therapy is rarely indicated or contraindicated; yet there are reports of successful treatment.[22] Its goals are to develop therapeutic alliance, containment of projected feelings of hatred, impotence, and badness; measured interpretation as well as the development of a sense of creative doubt in the internal perception of the world.   Whole families leaving the Org has increased

  i have noticed in the uk a few families i used to know while in the borg have exited together.

  some include former elders and ministerial servants.

  i observed on social media pages that the kids have 'worldly' boyfriends and girlfriends and they look so much happier than they did in the org.

  i think the wt will never give up this practice unless forced to by the courts, even if they are financially failing terribly they will keep it because the moment they do get rid of it the whole thing will collapse even faster and they know it(or afraid of it happening).

  The internet is a real game changer for the Watchtower's financial survival. As search engines continue to improve, and the proliferation of negative information about WT's unholy dealings past and present become easily available we should see a proportional exodus, and a resulting greater financial instability. With only a very small minority hanging on to membership most of which will be the very old nearing deaths sleep.

  I've noticed many JW carts at libraries and other public places but never a JW in sight or standing next to a cart,, and I'm thinking it is because the WT corporation doesn't want the indoctrinated members talking to people that might approach because of all the notoriety child molestation lawsuits. And so I feel to minimize the chances that Johnny kingdom publisher might meet up with apostates they encourage not standing next to the cart(leave it unmaned), with periodic check up so as to count one's time.

  BTW I live in the silicon valley where I'm sure a lot are waking up, and I'm sure a lot of manned cart have gotten Witnessed to by apostates like myself(I know I did my share), and so instructions from the CO in our location maybe to not be so close to the carts here.

  for me, beyond any shadow of a doubt, it's the extreme shunning policy.. at a recent sunday meeting, i listened to a complete brainwashed sister saying how important it was that we stick to the shunning policy even if it is a close relative.. i just thought.

  wtf.

  there is a big difference between the brainwashed and the awoken class!.
